Board Certification:Board certified in 1999 by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians

Residency: In 1999, Dr. Byrnes completed his family medicine residency at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, Camden, and Kennedy Memorial Hospitals, Stratford, with the Department of Family Medicine of the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey/School of Osteopathic Medicine. He served as Chief Resident of the department from 1998 to 1999, representing 43 family medicine residents.

Medical School: Dr. Byrnes graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996.

Undergraduate Education: In 1991, Dr. Byrnes received his B.A. in Biological Sciences from Rutgers College in New Brunswick.
